Sustainability communication******

Companies and consumers are reducing their climate impact. Are you also achieving results in sustainability? Is your company investing in the transition to climate neutrality? Are you working on circular products and processes? Then sustainability communication is also for you... an asset! Much more than an obligation.

Why sustainability communication?

The totality of external and internal communication messages about climate issues is referred to as sustainability communication. Communication helps to increase impact, making corporate efforts around sustainability, circularity, CO2 emissions... visible. Moreover, sharing stories inspires sector peers, customers, suppliers, and consumers.

Since 2024, sustainability communication is becoming mandatory for more and more companies. Europe demands concrete improvements and reporting on corporate social responsibility. At the same time, this obligation offers an opportunity to position your company as an innovator, leader, future-oriented, and positive enterprise.

My clients base themselves on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the UN. They select achievable and appropriate goals. These guide them in developing a policy and motivating their network to achieve concrete objectives. From this strategy, we develop the communication.

ESG report

Accurate figures and concrete achievements are essential before you communicate about sustainability. Ask for help with your ESG reporting!

Clear story

Concrete cases strengthen your figures. Clear stories make efforts visible, have sticking power, and inspire others to step in the sustainable direction.

ESG and CSR

ESG investments (environmental, social, and governance) and ESG reporting require clear language, concise documents, concrete cases, interviews about the strategy, press releases...

The hottest topic in ESG communication

Trust in sustainability communication is low. 53 percent of green claims are vague, misleading, or unfounded. The vast majority of consumers are sceptical about sustainability claims.

Today, building deep trust is therefore the greatest challenge in sustainability communication. At the same time, legislation is tightening, sensitive to any form of sustainability communication.

My concise advice

  • Position sustainability as a strategy. Therefore, also develop a communication strategy!
  • Communicate transparently about efforts and about areas for improvement.
  • Share hard data via a real-time dashboard. Prove the measurable impact.
  • Communicate about the sustainability of your suppliers.
  • Tell human, local impact stories.
